why, hello there

after posting on tumblr for exactly a year now and having gained quite a following,
i decided that new years eve would be my last day there.
it had gotten to a point where i felt as if i was posting to please and skirting
around surfaces, rather than posting what was actually on my mind
(mostly because a bunch of old friends started following me, and i lost comfort)

i needed a bit of change, and thought the first day of the year would be a great time to start.
so here i am :]
